For the past fourteen years Ames Engineering has been proud to have Diamond Surface as a loyal customer and partner. They were one of the first contractors to see the advantages of using a lightweight profiler as a in process quality control tool and purchased their first unit in 1998. That same unit has been upgraded over the past years and is still in service today. Diamond Surface has always employed all of the latest technology in their grinding operations, including the use of our RoLine sensor to ensure their customers receive the highest quality product.

1989 - Started grinding with a 3' grinder.
1990 - Fabricated our first 4' grinder.
1995 - Started Concrete Pavement Restoration.
1996 - Extended our services into the Rumble Strip market.
1999 - We began diamond grinding racetracks.
2003 - Expanded even further and purchased a Runway Groover.
2005 - Built a 2' grinder that allows closer proximity than any standard grinder.
2007 - Developed equipment which enables us to do Stop Sign Rumble Stripping.
We are a specialized equipment manufacturer for ourselves as well as other contractors.

Diamond Surface Inc. was founded in 1989 as a diamond grinding contractor. Since then, DSI has grown into a full service pavement preservation and rehabilitation contractor. Although our specialization is concrete pavements, we also have remedies and safety improvements for asphalt pavements. Let us take you through the evolution of DSI.
